| The TTR Tour continues on in Europe with the 3rd , 6th Star event of the season, in Davos Switzerland, at The O'Neill Evolution! FLOW brings back its heavy hitter line up for the 6 star, with special invites to Antti Autti, Risto Mattila, Scotty Lago and as first time TTR qualifier New AM Team Rider Tim Humphreys. Formally known as The SB Jam, O'Neill Evolution is one of the premiere snowboard freestyle events in Europe. Thursday brought the quarter-pipe qualifier to Davos and under the lights Tim Humphreys rode to qualify for his First TTR semifinals. A true stand out Tim was on his feet the whole time riding consistent and with a variety of tricks. BS 5, BS 7, 4 meters out of the quarter was the consistency the judges were looking for which put Tim in Forth place for the quarter pipe pre qualifiers. As the contest came to an end the riders were tired and worn out, but the crowd and judges were looking for a couple more hits, asking the riders “we can still judge if any rider has the strength to hike and hit the quarter one more time.” As the announcer got the words out his mouth he also looked up the hill and saw one lone hiker going back for one last attempt,… yes you guessed it,…. Tim Humphrey’s was not done yet. Before the eager Swiss fans Tim charged back up to the start and just for show ended the night with a lofty method. |
